Straight ahead animation

Straight ahead animation is when you just draw each frame as you go along, without planning ahead each pose or position of what you are animating. This video demonstrates straight ahead animation showing how to animate a bouncing ball. It makes it very clear how straight ahead animation moves from frame to frame.
