Silicone Advice.

For my Context of Practice practical I experimented with making Silicone puppets and I really wanted to use silicone to make parts of my puppets for this project. However, my silicone puppet from Context of Practice did not work very well, so I emailed Animation Toolkit and Mackinnon and Saunders for advice on working with silicone in the hopes that one of them would have time to reply and offer some help.

Within a day, I had a very helpful reply from Animation Toolkit that gave me lots of tips for mixing colours into silicone, how to properly mix the silicone and some suggestions for materials to use and how to make good moulds.

I'm very grateful for this advice and I hope it will help me make some really good puppets for this project.
